Exterior Painting
Exterior house painting, siding painting and wood repair across Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair Counties, prepped and applied to survive Michigan weather, and warrantied for 6 years in writing.
An exterior finish that outlasts the seasons
A Metro Detroit exterior lives a hard life: freeze-thaw winters, humid summers, lake-effect wind and sun. That is why Eason Painting treats preparation as the job itself. We power wash, scrape, sand, caulk every gap and prime bare wood before a drop of finish paint is applied. Skipping those steps is how paint fails in two years; doing them is how ours is warrantied for six.
Since 1998 we have painted ranches, colonials, craftsman two-stories and everything in between, on wood, aluminum, vinyl, composite and Hardie board siding. Our own carpentry crew replaces rotted trim and damaged boards as part of the same project, so the surface under your new paint is as sound as the finish on top of it.
You will get a written proposal with real numbers, a crew that shows up when promised, and a final walkthrough where we stand in the driveway with you and look at every side of the house before we call it done.

Aluminum & Vinyl Siding Painting
A cost-effective refresh for older aluminum and vinyl, with bonding primers and colors that stay put through the seasons.
Deck Painting, Staining & Sealing
Wash, sand, repair and finish, in solid, semi-transparent or clear, so your deck survives snow in January and sun in July.
Exterior Trim, Windows & Doors
Fascia, soffits, gutters, shutters, entry doors and window trim in crisp, durable enamel.
Carpentry & Wood Repair
Rotted trim, damaged siding and soft spots replaced properly before paint. Wood repair packages start at $500.
Power Washing & Prep
Every exterior starts with washing, scraping, sanding, caulking and priming. It is most of the work, and it is why the finish lasts.
From first coat to full repaints
Alongside repaints, our crews finish new construction and additions for homeowners and builders: fresh siding, gable ends, porch columns, soffit and fascia, painted on a schedule that keeps your project moving. Pair it with our Pre-Finishing shop and your doors, windows and millwork arrive on site already factory-finished.

Exterior painting FAQs
When is the best time of year to paint a house exterior in Michigan?
Late spring through early fall is the core season, though modern coatings let us extend into cooler months. Estimate season fills fast, so getting on the schedule in winter or early spring usually gets the best pick of dates.
How long will an exterior paint job last here?
With proper prep and premium product, expect eight to twelve years from wood siding and longer from aluminum, vinyl or Hardie. Our 6-year written warranty covers the workmanship the entire time.
What if my siding or trim has wood rot?
We fix it first. Our carpentry crew replaces rotted fascia, trim boards and siding sections before any paint goes on, so you are never sealing a problem underneath a fresh coat. Wood repair packages start at $500.
Do you handle both brush and spray application?
Yes. We spray, brush and roll depending on the surface and the product, then back-brush where it matters so the coating gets worked into the wood grain instead of just sitting on top.
How much does exterior painting cost?
Recent projects have ranged from about $2,000 for a single-color ranch to $9,500 for a large two-color colonial. Our Pricing page lists real ranges by house style, and every job gets a written, itemized proposal.
