A second-generation painting family
Eason Painting was founded in 1998 by Kevin Eason with $1,500, a used van and the training he earned working under his brother Chuck Walters, a career painting foreman who later joined as co-owner. What started with one customer, Kevin’s sister, has grown into a full-service painting company with its own drywall crew, carpentry capability and a dedicated Pre-Finishing shop on Hall Road in Clinton Township. We never advertised our way to growth; our customers referred us here, one finished project at a time.
Preparation is the job
Ask any painter what makes a finish fail early and the honest ones will tell you: the prep, not the paint. That is why every Eason interior starts with patching, sanding, caulking and priming, and every exterior starts with power washing, scraping and bare-wood priming before the first finish coat. It is also why we repair drywall and replace rotted trim ourselves instead of painting over problems. The 6-year written warranty on our workmanship is only possible because the surfaces under our paint are sound.
